Walking.....

Hunter Bunter is now a "walker" Took him 14 long months to do it, HA, but he finally is walking. He is sooo top heavy (really long torso and like NO legs) so I figured it would be somewhat difficult for him to walk and considering he scooted/army crawled forever and crawled late. But he is letting go of everything and walking to things. It's so cute! He also is trying to stand up from a sitting position. He can walk on all fours with his hands and feet, which is halarious. But he does get overwhelmed when he walks. He will start to walk and then he will stop in the middle of the room and slowly sit down because he realizes he is walking. It's petty funny! But, he is already trying to run as well....when he gets really excited he will run and lean forward, if Michael or I are not there to catch him he will fall flat on his face ( :
Anyways.....other than walking......he is now off of formula. He drinks straight milk (2%), the Doc said that whole milk is just a lot of extra fat and Hunter does not need the extra fat, we ALL know! ( : He is roughly 26 pounds and at his 1 year check up he was 31 inch tall (95th % in height). He is a BIG boy, I always get asked if he's two, and when I tell them NO 14 months, they freak out!
Well, besides Hunter, work is going so well. I love my kids to death and love love love working at Waco High! It's a wonderful school and believe me or not, I have not written one referral! The biggest problem I have is just a few talkers and I just have to ask them and remind them that they need to stop talking when I am, and that is totally it. On average my kids passed the 6 weeks exam, they are SO smart! Waco High has come a long way and the kids are so awesome. Once they realize that you really care about them they will give you the world! I tell them I love them all the time and I think it means everything to them.
Well, looks like Michael might be headed to the Police Academy in January. He is moving closer up the list and is now number 8. They are about to hire roughly 4-5 people this month so in the next 2 months he should get an interview. We are really excited and praying that God's hand is over all of this! Well, better get to cleaning, its a holiday and I am back to stay at home mom mode today ( : I love every minute of it and miss it so much! Have a good week everyone.
